[REPOST] 5.Jumping to Conclusions a) Mind-reading: You assume that people are reacting negatively to you when there’s no definite evidence b) Fortune-telling: You arbitrarily predict that things will turn out badly. . I must laugh about this one because I was always constantly reminded by my friends that I do. And I have been trying to practice to supress that negative ideology of jumping into conclusions! We just want to believe what we want to believe, without having to see all the facts that influence it. I remember I wanted to meet up with my friend and he bailed on me, and I got so frustrated and feeling shit because he hates me and didn’t want me around or wanted to hang out. I was salty and later that day, I realized he was hospitalized for chicken-box and I felt stupid just coming into conclusions. As humans, we do have the nature on taking impulsive decisions without considering all the facts. I mean be spontaneous is good but don’t jump into conclusions that hurt your personality, relationship with people or your mental health. Things can turn bad for you, but that’s just that we moment you are living in.
